🎓 Bridging the Past and the Future, One Step at a Time 🎓 Seniors from across the District took a stroll down memory lane at their former elementary schools today for their "Senior Walk" as current elementary students and their former teachers cheered them on. There was no shortage of hugs, laughs, high fives, and even embarrassing photos shared by all. It seems like just yesterday these "little learners" were walking these halls, and now they are walking across the stage as the "big kids."

#PCCommunity: ❤️An Emotional Trip To The Past Gives Putnam City North An Incredible Opportunity❤️ Putnam City North's choir, orchestra, and esteemed conductor, Mrs. Keegan-Moring, made us beyond #PCProud at a local Oklahoma City Bombing Tribute by performing a top-tier rendition of 'Threnody,' a choral-orchestral composition by Nancy Hill Cobb. The concert was performed with singers and musicians from across the metro, UCO and OU, all with Dr. Cobb in attendance! The piece is dedicated to those who were affected by the 1995 tragedy. The groups had the pleasure of gaining the full experience by visiting the Oklahoma City Memorial Museum to learn about the bombing and had a practice session with Dr. Cobb. Throughout the whole experience, emotional ties were built between this event and the performing students, noticeably elevating their passion behind the music.

📣 Lake Park Teacher is Magic 104.1 Teacher of the Month! 📻 Ms. Brown was nominated by her colleague, Ms. Laird, with a heartfelt letter that ultimately led to her being chosen as the Magic 104.1 Teacher of the Month! Ms. Brown, while hard at work with her students, was surprised in the middle of the hallway by the Magic Man himself and awarded a $250 check. How fitting that today's alphabet dress-up day at Lake Park Elementary was Q for Queen Day because the Lions have an official Magic Queen, Ms. Brown. ✨
