We are seeking family and community feedback regarding a proposed change to our school start/end times. This proposed change is inspired by extensive research and consideration for our student’s well-being and academic performance.
The proposed changes to school times are designed to align better with the developmental needs of our students across different education levels. Rooted in recent research, the suggested changes can positively impact sleep patterns, academic achievement, attendance, and the overall well-being of our students. Additionally, the times will address operational and transportation efficiencies for our District. If implemented, the new school times would begin for the 2024-2025 school year.
Your feedback is invaluable to us as we explore these proposed new school times. We understand a change of this magnitude requires careful consideration and collective input from all stakeholders. A district survey has been created to ensure that we consider all perspectives. Your participation in this survey is crucial to help us gauge the impact of these proposed changes on our families.
