Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Putnam City Campus Police is to provide a safe environment for the students, faculty, staff and authorized visitors of the Putnam City school district. Department Philosophy
The Putnam City Campus Police Department's reason for existence is service to and security of the school district properties and safety of persons thereon. Police officers of the Putnam City school district's Campus Police force have no liability or responsibility for law enforcement action other than on district property. All officers are instructed to pay particular attention to their areas of responsibility and duty, leaving local law enforcement off district property to those municipal law enforcement officers responsible. Putnam City Campus Police officers are then free to pursue the department's primary missions of safety, security and service to the district. This departmental philosophy serves as a guide for all duty actions by Putnam City Campus Police Department personnel.
