Free and Reduced Meal Application

The National School Lunch Program is designed to help parents with the expense of meals during the school year. The program is specifically aimed at providing assistance for qualifying lower income families.

For instance, a family of four with an income below $31,525 may qualify for free meals for their children in Putnam City schools. A family of four with an income between $31,526 and $44,863 may qualify for meals that cost just 40 cents.

How to Apply for Free or Reduced Price Meals
To receive free or reduced-priced meals, a parent or guardian must fill out an application for the family.

The online application process is safe, secure and private, and it’s available anytime and anywhere you have access to the Internet. Your data is transmitted to the Putnam City Child Nutrition Office the same day you apply, allowing for quicker processing so you can receive benefits faster.



2) The application is available (in English and Spanish) for printing on this website. Simply print it, fill it out and then turned in to the school office, school cafeteria, or the district's Child Nutrition Office, which is located at the west end of the Putnam City Center, 5604 NW 40th. If you have questions about the form, please call the Child Nutrition Office at 495-0184.

3) Paper copies of the application are always available to be picked up at in to the school office, school cafeteria, or district Child Nutrition Office.
