Oklahoma Academic Standards

Oklahoma’s Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) is a set of school academic standards covering all areas of a student’s growth: language, mathematics, science, social studies and the arts. Putnam City schools, like all Oklahoma public schools, follow the standards set out in PASS.

Because parents and schools work together as partners in building a strong foundation of these essential skills, the Oklahoma State Department of Education makes available for parents
a set of publications on PASS. Each Priority Academic Student Skill at every grade level is explained, and will help you work with schools to help your child succeed.
