Our school philosophy at Dennis is as follows:

We, the students, faculty, staff, and patrons of James L. Dennis Elementary, will join to form a partnership in providing a positive learning environment. In this environment, each person is recognized as a unique individual whose self-image is nurtured, independence and creativity are encouraged, and academic needs are met. Each child is assisted in reaching his/her optimum level of academic performance. Working as a school family, we will strive to instill pride and friendship through active involvement.
