Native American Clubs

Native American clubs are comprised of students in each of the Putnam City high schools. Students meet at their individual schools to discuss current issues and topics important to teenagers. The club members also determine what cultural, social and/or service projects they will undertake during the school year. The Native American clubs are a visible presence and an active voice for Native American students at their schools.

Monthly district meetings are held with all Native American club members. Students meet at predetermined locations to report and find out what other clubs are doing. Motivational speakers, storytellers, musicians, business people, etc., are invited to each meeting to share their knowledge and experience with the students.
