At the start of the 1976-1977 school year, the Buildings & Grounds Department was spun off from the Maintenance Department as a separate operating unit. Brady Graham was selected to be the first director of that new department. Graham was instrumental in developing an attitude of excellence that we strive to maintain to this day. The department has developed a program to recognize extraordinary efforts on the part of the staff. That recognition program is the Brady Award, so named to honor the contributions of Brady Graham.
