Board Statement
The Board of Education of the Putnam City Schools is committed to providing all students with the opportunity to share common experiences and to develop their individual potentials. Furthermore, the board is committed to graduating students who are equipped with the skills necessary to successfully compete in and contribute to society.
In fulfilling these objectives, the board encourages cooperative efforts with local business and industry to provide programs, materials and personnel which will enhance the regular school curriculum.
The cooperative efforts of business, community and education shall be implemented under the Partners in Education program of Putnam City Schools. Principals, teachers and all other staff members will strengthen and support business and community groups, cooperating in every way possible to provide assistance, materials, facilities or other aid to assist these organizations in helping schools.
