New Faces, New Places

Over the summer there were a number of changes in administrative personnel. Here’s a list of the changes:

Secondary

Jennifer DeSouza is the new principal of Kenneth Cooper Middle School. DeSouza had been assistant principal at Cooper since 1999. DeSouza replaces Dr. Roger Brown, who took a position with Moore Public Schools.

Hallie Wright is a new assistant principal at Kenneth Cooper Middle School. Wright has been an assistant principal in Shawnee Public Schools for the last two years. She replaces DeSouza.

Mark Landrith is a new assistant principal at Putnam City North High School. Landrith was an assistant principal at Putnam City West High School last year. He replaces Jason Brunk.

Dr. Scott Goosen is a new assistant principal at Putnam City West High School. Goosen was an assistant principal at Hefner Middle School last year. He replaces Mark Landrith.

Patty Brame is assistant principal at Central Middle School. She was an administrative intern at Mayfield Middle School last year. She replaces Jason Simeroth, now the district’s director of student achievement and assessment.

Brian Finley is a new assistant principal at Putnam City West High School. He was an administrative intern at Hefner Middle School last year.

ReJeana Payne is an administrative intern at Hefner Middle School. She served in the same position last year at Kenneth Cooper Middle School.

April Grace is an administrative intern at Hefner Middle School. Grace was a site tech at Putnam City High School last year.

Joe Ellis is an administrative intern at Kenneth Cooper Middle School. Ellis was a science teacher at Hefner Middle School.

Teri Voss is an administrative intern at Mayfield Middle School. Voss was an English teacher at Putnam City High School last year.

Elementary

Lee Roland is the new principal at Tulakes Elementary School. Roland comes to the district from Oklahoma City Public Schools. He replaces Mickey Wilson.

Mickey Wilson is the new principal at Harvest Hills Elementary School. Wilson replaces Dr. Ann Caine, who took a position with Moore Public Schools.

Barbara Crump is now principal at Apollo Elementary School. She was assistant principal at Hilldale Elementary School last year. Crump replaces Randy Rader, who was called to active duty for one year.

Drew Eichelberger is now principal at Western Oaks Elementary School. He was an assistant principal at Wiley Post Elementary School last year. Eichelberger replaces Ron Christy.

Ron Christy is the new principal at Kirkland Elementary School. Christy replaces Lee Ann Teasley.

Lee Ann Teasley is the new principal at Overholser Elementary School. Teasley replaces Paul West, who retired.

John Addison is the new assistant principal at Wiley Post Elementary School. Addison was assistant principal at Tulakes Elementary School last year.

Pam Miller is now assistant principal at Tulakes Elementary School. Last year she was assistant principal at Western Oaks Elementary School.

Lynn Johnson is the new assistant principal at Western Oaks Elementary School. Last year she was an administrative intern at Northridge Elementary School. Johnson replaces Gracie Branch, who took a position with Norman Public Schools.

Paula Carlile is the new assistant principal at Hilldale Elementary School. Carlile was the district’s elementary language arts coordinator.

Mark Charles is an administrative intern at Northridge Elementary School. Charles was a science teacher at Mayfield Middle School.

Wes Phillips is an administrative intern at Windsor Hills Elementary School. Phillips was a fifth-grade teacher at Hilldale Elementary School.

Coordinators and Specialists

Linda Buxton is the new elementary language arts specialist. Buxton was a longtime second-grade teacher at Windsor Hills Elementary School. She replaces Paula Carlile.

Elizabeth Bailey is the new secondary language arts specialist. Bailey was an English teacher with Edmond Public Schools.

Terry Payne is the district’s new ESL/Foreign Language coordinator. Payne comes to the district from Oklahoma City Public Schools, where he was area resource administrator for the Language and Cultural Services Division. Payne replaces Peggy Boyles, who retired.

Sheila Yates is the district’s new math specialist. Yates was an assessment coordinator with the State Department of Education. Yates replaces Richard Weir, who retired.

Melinda Porterfield is the district’s new career and technology coordinator. Porterfield was a counselor at Western Heights High School for a year and the career coordinator for Moore Public Schools for 3 1/2 years before joining the district. Porterfield replaces Marianne Stephens.

Brenda Chapman is the district’s new social studies coordinator. Chapman has been a social studies teacher at Western Oaks Middle School for the past 7 years.
