New Board Members Join Foundation


The Putnam City Public Schools Foundation has announced the addition of 12 people to its board. Each board member will serve a three-year term.

"We’re pleased to have these additions to our board. These are a dozen leaders in our community and in local business, and their ideas, energies and resources will be invaluable as we work with the district to help students and teachers excel and achieve," says James R. Dickson, Foundation president.

New board members are:

  • Nancy Bainbridge, Vice President, Commercial Federal Bank
  • Marsha Coffey, Vice President, Manager, INTRUST Bank
  • Barbara Crews, Editor/Writer, past PTA president
  • Glen Floresca, Senior Vice President, Bank of Oklahoma
  • Linda Frantz, Manager, Manufacturing Systems Analyst, Franklin Gray Patents, LLC
  • Richard Hinkle, Vice President, C.H. Guernsey & Company
  • Alan Kenney, Manager, Xerox
  • Jeff Kysar, Engineer, Lucent Technologies
  • Brenda Lopez, PACER Fitness Center, past PTA Council president
  • Wes Milbourn, General Sales Manager, KFOR-TV
  • Rose Ward, BMI Systems, past PTA council president
  • Ken Whittington Jr., Vice President, Granite Re Inc.

The Putnam City Public Schools Foundation aids Putnam City Schools in enhancing and enriching education of district students. Foundation funds support revitalization of neighborhoods surrounding schools, grants for literacy and mathematics programs, recognition of excellence in staff, students and volunteers, and many other programs.
