Golfers taking part in the Putnam City Public Schools Foundation Golf Tournament will tee off Monday, Oct. 25, at the Quail Creek Country Club, 3501 Quail Creek Rd.
Proceeds from the golf tournament fund projects that support excellence in Putnam City education. Players who take part raise money for schools by soliciting pledges of support. Event organizers hope the 35-plus golfers will raise more than $60,000.
If you’d like to participate, you still have time to sign up. And if swinging a golf club is not exactly your cup of tee, you can still help. The tournament can use hole sponsors (perhaps your favorite business), volunteers and in-kind donations.
