Putnam City North High School debate and drama students took third place in competition at Edmond North High School in early October. Students placing and qualifying for regionals were:
- Isaac Freeman, first place in Lincoln Douglas Debate, second place in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking
- Laura Gibbs, third in Lincoln Douglas Debate
- Shayna Daitch, fifth in Lincoln Douglas Debate
- Angela Hilliard, first in Poetry
- Kelsey Faulk first in Dramatic Interpretation
- Adam Hill, fourth in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking
Putnam City North drama students placed fifth at state one-act play contest. Lacie Lambert was one of 10 students at state selected to All-State Drama.
Putnam City West drama students finished in third place in one-act play regional competition at Edmond North High School in mid-October. Kyle Platt and Westin Pickens were named to the all-star cast.
The Putnam City North band has had a great year with these finishes:
- Ninth place at the Owasso Invitational Marching band contest
- 15th of 51 bands at the Bands of America Super Regional in St. Louis
- A superior rating at the OSSAA Regional Marching Contest at Cameron University
- Ranked seventh at the Oklahoma BandMaster's State Marching Band Contest
