Singing their Praises

District high school choral students have been singing their way to honors. Read about each school's triumphs below:

Putnam City North
Putnam City North students Charles Bullard, bass, and Daisha Davick, alto, have been selected as members of the national honor choir sponsored by the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). The two studetns will perform at the upcoming national convention of the ACDA.

Putnam City North has now five students selected for the national honor choir had since 1999, when the first student ever selected in the history of the district was selected that year.

Putnam City High School
The Putnam City Mixed Choir received the trophy for Outstanding Choir at the Little Dixie Choral Contest in Ada. All three choirs, women's, men's, and mixed received superior ratings. Putnam City also was awarded third place sweepstakes trophy.
