Students Invited to Participate in Media Competition
Oklahoma State University and the Oklahoma Technology Association are sponsoring a statewide competition for student media projects. Projects can consist of movies, still photos, web pages, animations, etc. Grade level classifications are K-4, 5-8, and 9-12.
Projects are due to OSU by Jan. 23, and winners will be announced at the Oklahoma Technology Association convention in February and will go on to the National Competition in Orlando, Fla., in October.
Guidelines and rules, judging criteria and an entry form can be found at http://librarymedia.okstate.edu/oksmf/
There is a $20 entry fee to enter work into the festival, but the district will provide scholarships to five students who wish to submit their work. For scholarship details, contact Curriculum Integration Specialist Cory Boggs at 495-5200, ext. 1245, or cboggs@putnamcityschools.org
