2009 Bond Update
In November 2009 voters in the Putnam City school district approved an $80.6 million bond proposal to maintain and improve school buildings and sustain well-equipped, high-quality learning environments. Voter approval of the bond proposal did not increase taxes.
The bond money is issued to the district in yearly increments. Projects will begin in in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Below is a list of the rough timeframe in which purchases will take place or projects will begin. Because the beginning of some projects is design work, not all projects will be visible during the year in which it begins.
First Release of Bond Money
