Science Olympiad at Capps Middle School
Scientists at Work   Hundreds of students at three district middle schools took part on Sept. 9th in Science Olympiad, a day of scientific exploration and competition. Students took part in several challenging and fun events to help them learn about science, including sending rubber-band powered cars down a path after estimating how long it would take the car to traverse the path. The active approach to science helps teach concepts in the physical sciences and also helps students learn science skills and applications.
