Teacher Job Fair Set for April 15

Graduating education students or certified teachers from other districts are invited to attend the Putnam City Schools Teacher Job Fair from 2 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, at the district’s administration building, 5401 N.W. 40th.

Teachers who attend the job fair will have a chance to interview with a school administrator and visit with administrators and teachers from throughout the district. Teachers may schedule a job interview in advance of the job fair by visiting http://www.putnamcityschools.org/jobfair

Dr. Ann Millerborg, the district’s associate superintendent for Human Resources, says the job fair helps prospective teachers by introducing them to the district and to school administrators.

“Each year a significant percentage of people we hire are people we talk to at our job fair. It’s a great way for people who want to teach in Putnam City to make contacts and make a positive impression,” Millerborg says.

Teachers may check for openings and apply for jobs in the Human Resources section of the district’s website at http://www.putnamcityschools.org
