 New School Rising A new Central Elementary School building is under construction to replace the existing 77-year-old building. When the new school is complete and students and teachers have moved in, the old school will be torn down to create playground and parking space. The project is being funded primarily through bond funds approved by voters in March 2007. MAPS for Kids funds are also helping to cover costs.
