District Students Earn All-State Choir Honors Ten district students from four schools earned spots in the Oklahoma Music Educators Association All-State Children’s Chorus following judging of recorded auditions from across the state. The choir is made up of 136 students in grades 4 through 8 from across the state.
Putnam City students chosen to be part of the chorus were David Green from Cooper Middle School; Amanda Eaton from Ralph Downs Elementary School; Andrew Johnson, Charisa Pederson and Eric Wall from Will Rogers Elementary School; and Grace Davis, Garrott Holmes, Parker Millspaugh, Jennifer Pullen and Emily Wall from Hefner Middle School.
Students selected to the honor choir will perform at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, during the annual convention of the Oklahoma Music Educators Association in Tulsa.
