The Parent's Guide to Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) Standards
Oklahoma’s Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) is a set of school academic standards covering all areas of a student’s growth: language, mathematics, science, social studies and the arts. All Oklahoma public schools follow the standards set out in PASS.
State Superintendent Sandy Garrett stresses that parents and schools work together as partners in building a strong foundation of these essential skills. Toward that end, the Oklahoma State Department of Education makes available for parents a set of publications on PASS. Each Priority Academic Student Skill at every grade level is explained, and will help you work with schools to help your child succeed.
