First Day of School
The first day of school in Putnam City is Thursday, Aug. 20.

Middle School Orientations and Schedules

Capps Middle School
• Camp Wildcat 6th-grade orientation and schedule pick up, Aug. 15, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
• Walk-through and schedule pick up, grades 7-8, Aug. 18, 8-11 a.m.

Cooper Middle School
• Walk-through and schedule pick up, Aug. 18, grades 7-8, 8-10 a.m.; grade 6, 5-7 p.m.

Hefner Middle School
• Schedules will be mailed to students in all grades
• Back-to-school day, Aug. 18, grades 7-8, 9-11 a.m.; grade 6, 1-3 p.m.

Mayfield Middle School
• Walk-through and schedule pick up, Aug. 14, grade 8, 1-2:30 p.m.; grade 7, 2:30-4 p.m.; and grade 6, 4-6 p.m.

Western Oaks Middle School
• Walk-through and schedule pick up, all grades, Aug. 13, 10 a.m.-noon

All middle school students who pick up schedules at school should bring a current water, gas or electric bill to verify their residence.
