As you prepare to send your children back to school, there’s a great deal of information you need. Below is information about schedule pickup, bus routes, school lunches, immunization and more.

First Day of School
The first day of school in Putnam City is Thursday, Aug. 18.

Middle School Orientations and Schedules

Capps Middle School
• Orientation for grade 6 students and their parents, Aug. 17, 8-8:30 a.m. 
• Grade 6 schedule pickup, Aug. 17, 8:30-10 a.m. 
• Grade 7 and grade 8 schedule pickup, Aug. 16, 8-9 a.m.
• Camp Wildcat grade 6 orientation, Aug. 18 (first day of classes), 7:40 a.m.-2:35 p.m. 
Please bring a current water, gas or electric bill on the first day of school.

Cooper Middle School
• All grades, walk-through and schedule pick up, Aug. 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 
Please bring a current water, gas or electric bill when you pick up your schedule.

Hefner Middle School
• Walk-through and schedule pick up, Aug. 15, grade 7 and grade 8, 9-11 a.m.; grade 6, 12:30-2:30 p.m.  
Please bring a current water, gas or electric bill when you pick up your schedule.

Mayfield Middle School
• Walk-through and schedule pick up, Aug. 15, grade 8, 9-10 a.m.; grade 7, 11-12 a.m.; grade 6, 2-3 p.m.

Western Oaks Middle School

Putnam City North High School
• Schedule pick up, Aug. 12, grade 9, 3:30-5 p.m.; grade 10, 10:30-noon; grade 11, noon.-1:30 p.m.; grade 12, 2:30-3:30 p.m. Please bring a current water, gas or electric bill when you pick up your schedule.
• 9th-grade Panther Palooza, Aug. 12, parent/student orientation assembly, 5:30-6:30 p.m.; Palooza activities, 6:30-9 p.m. 

Putnam City West High School
• Schedule pick up, Aug. 11, grades 9-12, 9-11 a.m.  Please bring a current water, gas or electric bill when you pick up your schedule.
• 9th-grade Patriot Camp, Aug. 11, 3-6:30 p.m. 9th-graders who attend Patriot Camp will receive their schedule during camp activities. Please bring a current water, gas or electric bill when you pick up your schedule.
• 9th-grade student and parent assembly, Aug. 11, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Putnam City Academy
• Schedule pick up, Aug. 12, grades 9-12, 9 a.m.-noon

High School Open Houses
• Putnam City High, Aug. 30, 6:30-8 p.m.
• Putnam City North, Sept. 1, booster club sales, food, etc., 6 p.m.; activities, 6:30-7:45 p.m.
