Because of her passion for helping children achieve bright futures, Julie Jenison joined the school board in February 2001. She was elected to a second five-year term in 2006. Julie has chaired a number of PTA committees and held several PTA offices, including president. She and her family are active members of New Covenant Christian Church, where she currently serves as board secretary.

Mark was appointed to the board in June 2008 and then won an election for the same seat in February 2009. Mark and his wife, Kimberlee, have one daughter who attends D.D. Kirkland Elementary School. They are active in Mayflower Congregational Church. Mark is the executive director of the United Suburban Schools Association.

Becky Haliburton joined the school board in February 2008. Haliburton has held numerous PTA positions in the district, including president of the Putnam City PTA Council and president of PTAs at Will Rogers Elementary and Hefner Middle School. Becky and her husband, Tracey, have two children who attend Hefner Middle School. She and her family are active in the North MacArthur Church of Christ.

Tammy West has been involved in the Putnam City Schools for 17 years. She has held numerous volunteer positions, including PTSA president at the elementary, middle school and high school level. She and her husband, Jon, have three children. Two are recent graduates of Putnam City West High School and are now attending college, while one is currently a junior at Putnam City West. Tammy and her family attend Council Road Baptist Church. She considers it a unique privilege to serve our children and our community.

In February 2010 Gail LoPresto was elected to her fourth term on the board of education. She was elected in July 1997 and ran unopposed in 2000 and 2005. LoPresto's advocacy for children began when she was expecting her first child in 1978 when Oklahoma City Public Schools was threatening to close the neighborhood school. She has been actively involved in PTA for the past 16 years, serving as president of the Mayfield Middle School PTA for two years. An Oklahoma State University graduate, LoPresto works as business administrator.
