 5.   Consent Agenda: All of the following items, which concern reports and items of a routine nature normally  approved at board meetings, will be approved by one vote unless any board member desires to have a  separate vote on any or all of these items.  The consent agenda consists of the discussion, consideration, and  approval of the following items:

 

a.       Minutes for regular board meeting November 17, 2014.

b.      Financial report and bimonthly bills for purchase order numbers 5-07914-011 through 5-08508-092 for the time period November 12-21, 2014 for the 2014-2015 school year.

c.       Activity Fund Transfers.

d.      Project Applications.

e.       Secondary Contract.

f.       Fundraisers.

g.      Overnight Travel Requests.

h.      Retirements and resignations as listed on Attachment A.

 

 6.  Consideration of and vote on recommendation of employment of new personnel and reassignments as listed  on Attachment A.

 7.  Consideration of and vote on motion to approve 2013-2014 Independent Audit Report by Eide Bailly.

    8.   Consideration of and vote on motion to approve OneNet for E-rate Funding request for Internet connectivity.  (  General Fund)

    9.  Consideration of and vote on motion to approve professional development with Dr. Sharon Kramer for the     2015-2016 school year.  ($32,500 for 5 onsite days from      Title 1 and Title 2)

   10.  Consideration of and vote on motion to approve Agreement Between Owner and Architect.

   11.  Consideration of and vote on new business.

12.  Consideration of and vote on motion to go into work session for the purpose of discussions between the Board of Education and the Administration regarding any matter of District business including but not limited to financial issues, personnel issues, educational issues, curriculum, administrative issues, enrollment and physical facilities’ issues.  Also included in discussion will be the ACT Report and Annual Safety Report pursuant to Senate Bill 258. No action will be taken on any item.

SPECIAL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING

Agenda

1.   Call to order and recording of members present and absent.

 2.   Consideration of and vote on motion to receive bids for the $18,000,000 Building Bonds of  the Putnam City School District and take action to award bonds to the lowest bidder. 

 3.   Consideration of and vote on motion to approve a resolution providing for the issuance of  building bonds in the sum of $18,000,000 by the Putnam City School District, authorized at an election called and held for such purpose; prescribing form of bonds; providing for registration thereof; designating registrar and paying agent, for this issue of bonds;  providing for levy of an annual tax for the payment of principal and interest on the same; and fixing other details of issue.

 4.   Consideration of and vote on motion to approve purchase of property located at 2024 N. Eagle Lane. 

 5.   Consideration of and vote on motion to approve purchase order numbers 5-03754-090  through 5-09189-710 for time period November 22 through December 11,  2014 inclusive for the 2014-2015 school year.

 6.   Consideration of and vote on motion to approve Heinemann Contract for professional  development January 5, 2015.  ($3,400 from Project 367)

 7.   Consideration of and vote on motion to approve a new Job Description for Special Needs Bus Monitor. 

    8.  Consideration of and vote on motion to approve Change Order (Deduct) from Saratoga Roofing & Construction for roof repair at Putnam City North High School.        (-$3,100.00 to 21-064)

  9.  Consideration of and vote on motion to ratify Board action taken on November 3, 2014 and provide explanation for selecting other than lowest bidder for replacing exterior cooling tower and controls at Putnam City North High School.

 10.  Consideration of and vote on motion to adjourn.
